This policy explains what we collect when you use handymanrafael.ca and what we do with it. We collect only what we need to answer your request.
What we collect
- What you type in the request form: your name, phone number and the optional description of the job.
- Which service or city page you sent the form from, and the site language.
- Your IP address, kept for up to one hour only to block spam and repeated automatic submissions.
- If you call, text or message us (WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber, SMS, email, Facebook, Instagram), we see what you send us there. Those apps have their own privacy policies.
Why we use it
- To call or message you back about your request, give a price and schedule the work.
- To keep a record of jobs and warranty requests.
- To protect the form from spam.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it is kept
Requests are stored in a database on Cloudflare, which also hosts this website. When a request arrives, a notification with its details is sent to the owner through Telegram. Only the business owner has access to the requests.
Cookies and third parties
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The admin area uses a login cookie that applies only to the owner.
Reviews and the rating shown on the site come from our public Google Business Profile through Google's API. Links to Google Maps, Facebook and Instagram open those services, which handle your data under their own policies.
How long we keep it
We keep requests as long as needed to do the work and honour the warranty, and delete them sooner if you ask.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it or delete it. Write to info@handymanrafael.ca or call 437-438-5055. We handle personal information in line with Canada's PIPEDA.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
